The recent eSports SG 4v4 competition saw us send 2 teams (A and B) to participate.
Team A consisted of:
OSL0rd
OSReneGade
OSNameless
OSRusher
Team B:
OSSGS
OSViolitasz
OSFracTaL
Nik
Unfortunately, both teams were knocked out after losing the first set and thus eliminated from the competition.
Still, the time taken and dedication to training is nothing short of but to be commended upon.
We shall try harder next time!
The GPD (gold platinum diamond) SEA weekly competition saw OSNameless placing top 8 in this week's tournament (#74).
It is a good indication that his skill level is rising well and continue to strive for first place plus better results he will. Nonetheless, top 8 is a noteworthy achievement and is not to be neglected on, we congratulate him for this effort!

OSRusher has made it to Grandmaster!
Getting into masters just barley 24 hours ago, OSRusher has made it to rank 16 GM!
This is by far an incredible feat for Rusher and OS as it marks our first milestone!
We hope to have many more players in GM!
Major congratz!

New Year, new challenges, new goals.
Its 2013, it felt like 2012 a day ago, and you may very well say so.
2012 has been a great year for Team OS, we had an amazing year with IEM and progress for the team has been pretty good. As with any up, there comes some downs. Members leaving and inability to reach some targets.
Team OS was founded on the 5th of February this year (2012).
Team OS was founded on the 5th of February this year (2012).
When I founded this Team, I had a very clear goal. I knew I wanted me and my team to have impact on the Esports scene. We wanted to achieve and premier as a top level team from an unknown place. We wanted to prove that Singapore and SEA can produce the top level players on par with the Koreans. We wanted to prove everyone else wrong, that SEA and Singapore can be a Hub for Esports. We wanted to be part of that.
Although I cannot say that we have even reached the highest level of play even here in SEA or Singapore, we will try out best to do so. That is the common goal that all members of Team OS share and what we upload to the highest degree.
IEM Singapore was a time for a small part of the growing Esports wave that is sweeping the globe to tap into unexplored regions. The Team had the opportunity to attend such an amazing event and it was an incredible experience to be able to see the world class players that were there live.
Following that, the Alienware Gamespot tournament was a first for us. For me and Andy (OSStitch) it was our very first major offline tournament. It was stressful, but thrilling nonetheless. Getting to see the premier Singapore and SEA players was a real honor and pleasure. There we also met our future players Syafiq (OSNamless) and another player who I shall announce soon. I always kept thinking that if we had not reached out nor sc2sea admin nirvAnA giving us the opportunity to attend and get some HOTS beta keys, we would never have met these new and awesome players nor the rest of the top level players there.
Next on the line up was a BSG clan war/ tourney held by eSports and hosted by Aftershock PC cafe which had given us the fantastic liberty to make use of their amazing computers and the entire section of the area just for us to play. With clans such as mGG, FS and ToR, it was sure to be a showcase on whether Team OS could perform. Despite the technical issues both before and during the tournament, the players kept their cool and the casters just keeping up the amazing momentum and casting. It was a sign of not only passion but determination for everyone that they see this tournament through as best as they can.
In the end, all the practice paid off. We won the whole tournament. Competition was tough and stress was at an all time high for the players and it was also, for some of the Team's members, their first tournament played live.
The year ended off with the Team heading out for lunch together and a LAN. It was a moment to be savored as we talked and laughed away. Cursing every once in awhile dude to some of us getting raped by each other during a game of CS: GO. Nonetheless I really felt the team spirit and it has shown me that yes, we are on the right path.
To end this off, I would like to thank all the people who supported Team OS and the amazing people who work so hard for eSports both here and in SEA. The great community of sc2sea for having such a positive feedback on us joining and nirvAnA for allowing us to host our clan page on the sc2sea website. Thanks to eSports SG for everything and doing what they love and everyone else who we had the pleasure of interacting with.
Great things are coming in 2013.
Cheers,
Barry, OSL0rd
