Still the same

Well after much thinking and all that complex stuff. I've decided the clan will remain as it is. People have to be more active and put in more effort towards a better clan as a whole. I'll see how it plays out. Oh btw, new vid :)

AzuRe as a Clan

Unfortunatley, i have bad news, or good, depends on how you see it. I may be disbanding the clan. Why? Thats what this post is for. I must say that the vision and commitment of the clan just isnt there. Im the one doing majority of the work, ideas etc basicly running the clan myself. Sure, i can handle that, but then when i want to get you guys involved, too busy, cant be bothered, lazy, sarcarstic replies. Busy? I understand and am not forcing you. The rest? I take it that you arent commited and just dosent give a shit. Why dont i just kick those people then? Simply put, if i were to do so, i'll be the only one left. It may be unfair to a few who have put in effort in raising up the clan to new heights, but the general impression i get is still all the unwillingness and laziness. Secondly, i cant bear to kick anyone of you guys. No matter how rubbish you are at the game nor how bad your life sucks or how terrible your attitude or how little/none things that you conttibute, i treat you as my fellow brothers and i belive that there is a reason to as why you are like that and i will try to change you into a better person to best of my abilities. What is the response i get? Same old story. Lazy, unwilling, dont care, even worse, its just a gaming clan, why the fuck do i need to do this. That statement completey shattered me. Then i'll reply, why the fuck did you even join in the first place? As mamy of current AzuRe members know that i never force you do anything, i never threatened you with a kick from the clan for the rubbish commitment or attitude, i never ruled the clan like a dictator, and when you accepted the invite to the clan, i have clearly stated that i want good attitude and at least some level of commitment. What im feeling now is zero. And again i know it may be unfair to some of you who have contributed, but this is what i feel. I want a clan that is well known, well renowned for its fairness, equality, members, passion, vision and our uniqueness to inspire clan members to do what they want for the clan on their own prompt rather than other clans who generally force their members to do so. I dont like those kind of clans, so i developed my own clan with a new kind of system, no complex branches for each game, i take good care to involve everyone as much as possible, try to make a clan identity for all of us to feel a sense of belonging, go the extra mile to do things that you dont see in other clans. Take a good look at what i and some of people who have contributed to the clan have done. Did you appreciate all of this? No. I dont see any of it. No one really gives a fuck about it and it completley saddens me. I visioned and inspired to create a clan so well bonded, so well matured and so well known for its tradition uniqueness that we like the prestige of all clans, the best of the best. Sure it may not be in gaming, but otherwise i inspire to be that. I hope this will be the last time i talk about this and we will all work together to be greater than ever before. Generally, im in deep consideration to disband the clan. If i dont see any improvement or changes. Then you know what will happen. I'll be seeing you all soon. You guys are still my fellow brothers and i dont want that to change.

Mw3 Spec ops, the beast shall rise!

I seem to have this... this...thing for spec ops where I can literately perfect the mission, know what to do, enemy spawns and etc. Not getting the fastest time, that would be no life, but be able to get 3 stars all the time. Anyway, enough bull crap. Here's the vid :) enjoy.

Oh i almost forgot. A vlog! After 2 months! Go check out the Vlog channel :D

Cant do shit

Well the first few days of Modern Warfare 3 sucked. As you maybe have seen in the live stream, totally getting destroyed in the games which involves Singapore players. No doubt Singapore players are good, but to what extent? I can't seem to have that kind of impression that kind of solid feeling of their professionalism, its just not there. Sure they are getting high KDRs, but again back to my point, to what extent. Drop shots, quick scopes, noob tubes, cheap tactics etc? Well many would argue that I'm terrible at the game, which I humbly say I am, but the point of using those tactics to get to the top? I don't know. Its just Modern Warfare 3 isn't appealing anymore. I don't think there is much more Call of duty in me left. Well, we'll see how it goes.

Call of Duty (Franchise) VS Battlefield

So its technically become the topic that everyone is talking about, whether it is franchise versus franchise or game versus game as in MW3 versus Battlefield 3. With all the trolls online and all the self-opinionated people its hard to find someone who has a neutral stance about these two games or franchises and could give a proper fair opinion in technical aspects. Not that I'm saying that I am the one who is able to do so, but I feel I do take neutral stance between these two franchises. Sure you may argue that I'm more of a COD person with more Black ops content on the channel, but since everyone is in the hype of COD and COD is a easy game to commentate over as a background and really press out some opinion without too extensive gameplay. Not to mention that COD has been the main stage for commentators to showcase their skill and talent at both game and commentary for quite awhile now. Basicly put, most YouTube commentators revolve around COD, however that's starting to change.

Alright enough sidetracking, lets get down to it.

Sales
In terms of sales, it is pretty obvious that COD has indeed racked up tons of money. Setting new records in sales and literately influencing an entire generation of players. This is possible as COD 1, 2 and 3 has long showed that the COD series is a popular one and I used to play COD 2 like crazy, quickscoping with the springfield. Its influence in setting a new high for FPS has gained the reputation and that increases the amount of sales it generates. COD 4 was like adding dope to the already high COD sales, the popularity of game was backed up with its standing reputation and how it appealed to people who loved modern warfare with all its covertness and its sense of suspense that you could rarely get from other games. Then there COD 5 with zombies which also hit the gaming market by storm. Then the return of Modern Warfare with COD 6, again smashing sales. Then there was COD 7, or Black ops, which adored many players looking for a change in the flaws of MW2 and hit the world by storm. This mainly contributes to the fact that the entire franchise has over 7 titles sold over a long period of time and while battlefield has about 4 as of now. So obviously COD wins this round. Battlefield has been the starting game in which FPS really took off, but COD just propelled that and people started switching to the console instead of PC which also took its toll on Battlefield.

Gameplay
Safe to say the gameplay concerning these 2 games were quite major. COD had that badass look in which u go around completing objectives and a few epic cutscenes in which it melts perfectly into the game and scenario you are playing in. Battlefield on the other hand has been more of completing the overall objective rather than running around and kill everyone you see. Although COD has a rather epic gameplay, Battlefield stands out for its objective based gameplay instead of COD's kill everyone type gameplay.

Graphics
Naturally, due to COD's development in the late 2000s and with the graphics improved significantly over time. Its easy to see why COD's graphics heavily outweigh those of Battlefield's.
I've added these 2 pictures to compare between these two games. Above one is MW2 and the left would be Battlefield Bad company 2. Release dates are as close as possible to make the comparison as fair as possible. Just so you should know, Mw2 was released 4 months before BFBC2.

Mutiplayer
Ah so yes, we get to the part where it gets interesting. I shall do my comparison from what I've experienced. Battlefield has a more objective based gameplay as I mentioned earlier while COD is more of the shoot and kill all kind of objective. Though there are playlists in COD that have objective based gameplay, most people just kill all. The guns in COD are alot more comprehensive and attachments thereof are of course also more comprehensive than Battlefield. Unique things like for COD killstreaks and for battlefield, vehicles which you can drive or pilot have all their own advantages and disadvantages. On a general note. Battlefield has more balanced multiplayer than COD and the gap with player skill isn't big on Battlefield, but on COD, the gap is pretty big. Connection wise Battlefield has their own dedicated sever which reduces 90% of the lag regardless of where you are. COD on the other hand does not have such luxury and it is dependent on who is "hosting" the connection. This is good if all players are in the same region, but when you're talking internationally, its disaster. Lets use a real example, I'm from the asia-pacific region and the host is usually someone from the other side of the world. My ping would be at least 400-600 on COD which is means a red bar and between 0.4-0.6 second delays in whatever I do. My internet speed is 300Mpbs and I will still lag if the host is not that of my region. On Battlefield, these is still host, but like a gameroom master sorta and the connection is dependent on the sever, not the player. This reduces lag and the most lag I ever got was about 100 ping which is a 0.1 second delay, equivalent to a 3-4 bar on COD. To sum it up, COD has a more competitive, safe to say even brainless multiplayer and quite rubbish connection, but its is roughly compensated via its multilayer experience when all these are factored out. Battlefield on the other hand excels well in areas COD doesn't and although a bit less comprehensive, still a pretty great multiplayer experience.

Community
The battlefield community is rooted in the PC and just recently that the battlefield console community started forming. PC gamers are usually quite decent. They don't rage as much and although one might say that all gamers come from the PC at first, its mainly the console where all the are born. Trolls? Probably console. Flamers are more of the PC rage people. So generally the Battlefield community is very decent and everyone is generally alright. COD community is like stubborn magnet. Sometimes they stick together for a noble cause, and other times they repel each other. There plenty of "kids" on COD, not only referring to age, but maturity level. Out of my entire gaming life playing COD, I've only met a couple of people, like 3-4 who are mature enough. Who don't rage, understand the problem and act on intelligence rather than emotion, play well as in communication and suggesting strategies and tips to other players in a nice and decent way etc etc. Mainly all the good stuff. The rest? FUCK YOU I YOU PIECE OF SH4T N00B, YOU CANT E3VN A4M FOR SH1T! WAHT DA FUCK MAN, I SH0T YOU ALRDY OMG WTF. And then followed by rage quit or other players joining in. Standard experience in COD. So there you have it. I feel COD has a rather rubbish community and on the other hand Battlefield has still some rubbish people, but compared to COD is much much better. Still COD has a strong community (Generally).

Well that about sums up what I feel of theses two franchises. I'll wait till I get my hands on some BF3 and MW3 experience before I do review on them. Well then then, see you guys.

P.S The above is all my opinion and is judged on reliability based on your own stance, you don't have to agree with me all the time. Its just my opinion. Cheers.

Modern Warfare 3

The Call of Duty XP presentation was held yesterday around 3am GMT+8 time and I was on it. Watching and examining the reveal of one of the most anticipated games ever. Modern Warfare 3. No I didn't go there and this is based on what I predict, hope and remember about that game.

Graphics. Honestly, looking at the trailers I do not see significant improvement in the graphics. Could be due to the limitations of the Xbox 360. Not to say the Graphics for MW2 or MW3 is terrible, but they both look similar. Both maintain the 60 fps rate that COD tends to keep in tradition. However the things that did improve are the number of polygons. I've done a bit of researching and the engine for MW3 would be the IW 3.0 engine. Probably the same since MW2 with a few tweaks here and there. The guns look more detailed, the effects, explosions and etc all have more detail and more can be happening at one time.

Gameplay. I'm sure this is the part you will be interested in. Lets start with the campaign. Storyline wise I can only make a rough guess. The facts are that WW3 is ongoing, Makrov from MW2 is still alive and is being hunted down. Like my previous guesses, here is what in general the storyline might progress. It starts off after MW2 when soap and price both recover from their ordeal in MW2 and begin the hunt for Makrov. However, Makrov sets in motion a chain of events leading up to WW3 which probably involves the Russians acting as other nations (The main 4, USA, Britian, Germany and Russia) and inciting war among each other (similar to End War which is also WW3) or Makrov could have framed the other countries and cause war among the 4 nations. How it ends off is anyone guess. There are so many possibilities and the truth is I can't even make a rough guess as to how the ending goes. The announcers did say that some weapons found in the Campaign will not be in Multiplayer so that removes the overpowered stuff you see in the Campaign from the Multiplayer aspect.

Multiplayer is a huge part of MW3 and I'm unsure whether I could remember everything. Lets start with the facts. New stuff: Killstreak system changed. Now it is split into 3 categories, mainly support, strike and some perk lone wolf thing. Each category you can only choose one and use it for that class. Each category also has about up to 18 killstreak with a unique exception of the last perk tier category killstreak. The support killstreaks are mainly for the help of your team, for example UAV, advanced UAV, Juggernaut scout, robotic turrets, landmines etc are all for the defensive and support role of players looking to help the team win by helping the team as a whole. Also the killstreaks do not reset after you die. The second category would be the strike category. This is more for players which go for kills and help the team succeed by playing the offensive. You get airstrikes, harriers, bombers, etc all sorts of offensive based killstreaks. The last and most unique category would be the perk killstreak category. Do note that ALL classes you can have a default of 3 perks. Like standard classes you originally have 3 perks that you want, then you pick the perks that you want to get when you get kills. For example lets say you have 3 standard perks first. Steady Aim, Marathon and ninja. Now you get 5 kills, you can use a 4th perk and put it into your total perk count for that life. Lets say you chosen sleight of hand for the 4th perk. After 5 kills, activate that killstreak and you get your 4th perk. In total, you can stack up to an additional 8 perks making your player something epic. However do note that you do not get any other air/ ground support killstreaks so you are purely playing on your perks and skills.

The balancing of the Multiplayer is also another large part. The creators of MW3 have announced that for the MW3 Multiplayer:
-Last stand removed
-Commando removed
-Shotguns as primary only
-Guns are more or less balanced out
-New weapons
-Quickscoping is back
Personally I'm pretty excited about the changes, however there is still the concern of the Noob tube. Yes there is still the tube and I'm unsure on whether Danger Close will be back or not. However there is a special turret, something like and anti-ballistic turret that stops all explosive projectiles from detonating near you, forming like a sphere in which you will be protected from explosive projectiles for a certain time. That sort of balances out the explosives but more stuff needs to be added for a perfect balancing. Flak jacket would probably just make the explosives useless. Lets see how the developers are going to strike a balance in the game.

Some more additional details:
There is a killcount bar at the side that highlights the number of kills to your next killstreak so no more counting in your head.
Support killstreaks are designed to be shared with other team members
A new gamemode called Kill confirmed where it is similar to TDM but after you kill someone, you have to confirm the kill and pick up the enemy's dogtag. If not, it will not count as a kill. The enemy can also pick up their fallen comrade's dogtag and disallow you from confirming the kill.
New maps with detailed design to minimise camping and increase action plus more vivid places
Total of about 4 or 5 DLCs planed for MW3
Intense on Call of Duty Elite

Call of duty elite is a platform where COD gamers can come together to play, share and communicate. You can from clans, create matches and gametypes, host lobbies, chat with other gamers, tips and tricks, funny or awesome moments, play competitions for cash or virtual prizes and many more. It is equal to the Facebook of COD and there is also a option of you getting the premium user card which is 49.99 USD a year and you get ALL the DLCs monthly for FREE and many other special features that you can do. It is an incredible idea and looking at it, it is amazing for the developers to come up with such an innovative idea.

All in all, I can see that this is turning out to be one hell of a game. But will it be the same as MW2? I honestly think that MW2 was a complete disaster with the balancing of the multiplayer system and if MW3 is similar with those problems, then MW3 will be just another failure in my opinion. The developers have taken a forward step in their aim and goals but are they stepping in the right direction? Hopefully.

Review: Steelseries spectrum 5XB

The Steelseris spectrum 5XB. Designed and manufactured by Steelseries. Here's the low down.
Pros
-One of the most comfortable headsets I have ever worn. Surrounds your entire ear and super prolonged usage of this will not affect you. Soft large cushions at the ear muffs and a leather rubber like skin with padding on the top makes it an extreme comfort to wear.
-Braided cable of about 1-2 meters. Pretty sufficient.
-Audio is pretty impressive also. Large ear muffs give the feel of you actually inside the game and you can hear things distinctively coming from different directions.
-Comes with a Steelseries audio converter that is compatible with many other headsets. The audio converter has individual audio and voice sound adjusters, a large front microphone on and off tab, at the back a audio mixer where if on, game volume will automatically decrease once some one is talking in your party for example and game volume goes back to normal levels after talking from party, making extreme convenience for user.
-Portable in parts. The headset can be easily dismantled into 3 different parts for maximum portability and can be also easily reassembled.
-Hidden microphone at the side that can be pulled out allows maximum space.
-Ascetics are nice too, with a glossy side ear muff plus a Steelseries logo and the top with a smooth plastic piece that shows that quality has been put into the product.

Downsides
-Heavy. It gets noticeably heavy after awhile and starts to feel awkward.
-The rounded earmuffs make you look a bit funny.
-These are designed for home use and brining it out is not really a great idea.
-Music wise there are not that great.
-The microphone is of pretty bad quality. Good enough to be heard clearly. Bad to the point where you sound like you are using a cheap microphone.
-No additional accessories
-Over priced. This costs 189 SGD. About 160+ USD. Totally not worth the price for this headset.

All in all, I do not recommend this unless you really have no choice. Which shouldn't be the case. An Astro A30, which is way better than this, costs about 130+ USD on Amazon for a brand new one.

Review: Mad Catz MLG pro gaming Xbox 360/ PS3 controllers

I was reading MLG news the other day and saw that they are announcing a new controller for the pro league and for people like us to purchase those controllers. They have not been released yet and the price is yet to be announced. However, based on MLG's description and some research I've done on the internet. I can make a pretty good assumption and prospects on how this might turn out and what I hope it will become.
Looking at the photos. This looks sick! Glossy black surface with a almost futuristic look like something out of a science fiction movie. This controller is made by Mad catz and developed jointly by MLG. They had prototypes and called in the pros to test and it out till they got this. At first, I was excited about this, till I saw the maker Mad catz. They had a reputation in  past for making products such as their very own variant of the Xbox 360 controller with a lousy quality. The technical aspects for Mad catz products are good, but aesthetics wise, safe to say that they just didn't excel in it. But over the past few years, there has been BIG major improvement to such issues based on this photo, I think they did it. They managed to correct their errors and maybe, just maybe even perfect it. Technical aspects they should have mastered already. Anyway lets cut into this beast and see what it has.
Firstly, the small notches of space you see at the sides? Those are magnetic and detachable. Also, fully customisable. Which makes this the top of the line most personal controller you may ever get your hands on.
Secondly, the layout of the buttons are in such a way that they benefit the specific gamer. You adjust the controller to your liking and make it your own. As compared to the standard Xbox 360 controller, the fire button is shaped much like a trigger and placed suspended on the back rather than that near to the bumpers, making shooting easier for FPS games and the sensation would be amazing. The bumper buttons also are adjusted in that they are spaced out more and are bigger, reducing the risk of accidentally pressing it. Start and back button are located at the top of the controller and this might take some time getting used to. The middle button is still quite an eyesore as I had hoped it be much like the standard Xbox 360 controller button with a chrome like rounded button sticking out instead of a flat, sticker looking like button. The left and right analog sticks are also changeable. You can make them longer, wider etc etc to your liking. The pads on the sticks are also changeable to your liking.
Thirdly, the controller acts as a platform for both PS3 and Xbox 360 button layouts. Do note that they ARE NOT inter-playable between the PS3 and the Xbox 360, but rather you can place a PS3, for example, D-pad on the controller instead of the Xbox 360 D-pad and still have your Xbox 360 default button layout.
Fourthly, the controller puts an emphasis on grip with rubberised material at the left and right grip of the controller allowing prolong use without slipping. This also prevent grooves on the the controller that when after long use, would get dirty inside.
Fifthly, the weight of the controller is adjustable with the back portion of the controller empty for you to put weights (if needed) that come with the packaging.
Sixthly, the controller has accessories such as thumbsticks, thumbpads and cables to your own liking on length and colour. Speaking of the cable, it is detachable and braided for prolonged use. No need to wrap your cable around the controller to make it portable, just unscrew!
Lastly, the price will be an interesting one. MLG has stated that it will cost below USD 160 and speculations say that it may cost as much as 50-70 USD. A pretty amazing price for a pretty darn amazing controller. I once saw a Razor Onza tournament edition for 100 bucks SGD which is about 80USD and my friends who have it say its rubbish.
Anyway, here is the components that come with the controller:
  • The MLG Pro Circuit Controller
  • Two Playstation 3-style ProModule thumbsticks
  • Two Xbox 360-style ProModule thumbsticks
  • Xbox 360-style ProModule D-pad
  • Playstation 3-style ProModule D-pad
  • Three meter ProCable
  • Matte faceplate
  • Glossy faceplate
  • Matte and Glossy left panel plate
  • Matte and Glossy right panel plate
  • Weight compartment with 70 grams of weight
  • Carrying case for the MLG Pro Circuit Controller, ProCable, and all of your accessories
This about sums up the review of the new controller. Plan to get all AzuRe members to buy one of these. The problem is on how it will fair when it actually goes out onto the field. Hopefully, it works out the way it is expected to.

Review: Astro A30, Mixamp 5.8 wireless system

Just a review on the Astro A30 headset and the Mixamp 5.8 wireless system.
Personally, I do have an Astro A30, as you all should know if you keep up with the videos. Just a low down on the benefits and disadvantages.
Benefits
-Lightweight comfortable. Design helps in prolonged hours of usage and even on the move. It only weighs about 200 grams even with the detachable microphone. The soft latex sponge at the ear muffs and the top headrest give extreme comfort and I once even forgot that they were on my head.
-Build quality is great. Solid plastic with a glossy surface at parts of the headset shows that this isn't your average headset. Interchangeable magnetic speaker tags at the sides are custom made and can be modified for maximum customisation. The tags are also lightweight and do not disrupt any the quality of the sounds being produced.
-Designed for portability. As compared to the A40s. These A30s have a smaller size for the left and right ear muffs and are meant to cover ear rather than surrounding it. They sit comfortably on top of your ear and this prevents it from slipping. Compact and its ability to swirl a full 90 degree facing up to be placed on your neck while not using it makes it stylish and convenient on the move. A quick disconnect cable containing both microphone and earphone jacks allow switching of different cables much easier and faster. The headset also comes with many different wires such as a computer double mic and headphone jack and a wire designed for your phone with a quick answer button with a 3.5mm jack at the end. The headset component also contains 2 microphones that you can choose to talk from. One is the detachable microphone, the other a built in concealed microphone located near the on and off microphone tab. Great for talking on the move.
-Sound quality wise is also great. Designed for both standard hearing and 5.1 surround sound. The base of the headset is also another plus for it. Although not intensive on music ,as it is after all a gaming headset where you're supposed to hear where the enemy is not how nice is the sound of his footsteps, it is still rather awesome for it. For example in gaming, a grenade exploding in the distance can be heard with a rather real life feeling and a shockwave sound that hits you in the chest can be felt through that. It really is pretty impressive.
-Price wise it is quite worth it. 150 SGD for this plus the included component cables and the fact that Astro is renowned for their premium headsets. A deal would be to get the set which contains both the headset and the wireless system which I will elaborate and review later.
-Packaging is impressive. The design and quality of the packaging is very nice and the headsets are in the hard travel case that comes with the packaging. Good for long distance travelling if you're not using the headsets.

Downsides
Surely with all this there must be some issues? Yes. There is a few issues.
-Unlike studio headsets, the Astro A30 has a problem of blocking out external noise that well. I can still hear people talking even with a rather loud volume.
-When you turn the headsets and place it on your neck, it tends to jerk upwards if you do not put it back into its original state of pushing the extendible ear muffs back which is annoying at times.
-The ear cushions are not interchangeable and that is quite a problem when you want to clean it or it starts to wear and tear.
-The size of the headsets is also quite an issue for me as I have to extend to the maximum to fit my head. Apparently, most of my friends can wear this perfectly and at the lowest extension, so this may be limited to just a few people like me.

Overall, it is a headset worth considering to get. I would rather recommend you to get an Astro A40 or Trittons if you're the stay home gamer types. I tend to go out of the house quite a bit and sometimes game at people house.

The mixamp 5.8 is a component of Astro headsets which is sold separately. These allow your Astros or any other headset to become wireless and it also comes with a 5.1 surround sound feather. The left device with the square like shape is the receiver module for the mixamp. It basicly transmits the game sound to your sender module ,which is on the right and looks a bit oval, while transmitting your voice into the game via wireless connections. The coolest part of the mixamp is that Astro has taken careful consideration on the wireless frequency in which these operate at. Normal Wi-fi connections, for example your router to your computer or Xbox 360, has a frequency of around 5. Astro has changed the frequency of the mixamp to 5.8 which means it does not interrupt or distort any of your wireless connections, reducing risk of lag. The sender module houses a main volume control, a gauge for the level and percentage of game volume to voice volume ratio, a power switch, a 5.1 surround sound button, at the bottom, a USB charge port, a Xbox 360 controller cable wire and a 3.5mm port for your headset to plug in. The receive module has the power port, 2 USB ports, optical in and out port plus a AUX in port for your music if you want to. The sender module also comes with a attachable side stock which you can then hang on the side of your pants, making you able to walk around without the need of holding to the sender module. The range of these are also pretty far. Without any obstacles, it goes about 3-6 meters easily. Packaging wise for the mixamps are also incredibly impressive with all wires such as for your Astros to 3.5mm to sender module, a double female 3.5mm microphone and headset port to 3.5mm to sender module, a USB charge cable and an optical cable for your receiver module from Xbox 360 optical out. It costs about another 180SGD. Plus the whole set, Astro is selling it at 300 SGD.

The downsides however, are that the sender module eats battery like crazy. 3 fully charge triple A batteries can last only 4 days maximum of prolonged usage. The way to fix this is to get the rechargeable battery pack that you can order inclusive of the package or to get rechargeable batteries. Another problem is that when battery is low for the sender module, it will start beeping annoyingly every few minutes. Also, unlike the other wired Astro module for wired gaming, at my current knowledge you cannot link the mixamps together for team talk and that will be quite a disadvantage at team tournament events.

Overall, if you really need a wireless system. Get these. They are expensive though and I agreed that it is a bit overpriced. The best would be for you to buy the A30 or A40 wireless system set and get the most out of your value for money.

That about concludes this review for the Astro A30 and the wireless mixamp 5.8 system.

Halo 3! Classic.

New vid with my stuffz

Updates

Hello fellow AzuRe members and people who visit here for updates, gotta few things to talk about here and some pretty ambitious stuff. Here goes.

So i just recently bought a new audio mixer, which translates to me being able to do live commentaries without using the cheap method of plugin the microphone into the computer and playing at the same time. This reduces the synchronizing problems I have and will reduce the amount of time I need to spend on editing. Also, I will be able to do live streams. I will discuss this later in the post.

My Astro A30s will be arriving soon. Can start making live commentaries soon. Probably by this week or so. Got in store some new commentary styles since I'm recording live. Halo Reach with SGSton was a blast, I hope you guys enjoyed it. I definitely did. Some technical problems, but it worked out pretty well in the end. With my new mixer and an Astro A30, expect to see more high quality gameplay and footage.

Plenty of new games coming out. The Microsoft E3 conference really shed some light on the future of gaming with kinect and upcoming new titles that will rock the gaming community. Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Ghost Recon Future Solider are just some of this year's most anticipated games. Next year, Halo 4 is set to be released and with Bungie, the original creators of the Halo franchise, out of the project and 343 Industries spearheading the new sequel. I'm a bit sceptical about how it will turn out, it will either end up as a disappointment or an epic success as to the glory days when Halo 3 was released.

Now about the live streaming. I'll settle over the technical aspects over the course of the remaining part of the year. The plan now is to see what we need, how to get it, how much, when, who. What game? Modern Warfare 3. Sort of like how Machinima did Black Ops, we will do a 24hr live stream till we get to the max prestige available in the multiplayer of MW3. Its gona be epic. Hopefully we can get it done and be possibly the first ever people to live stream gameplay. My hope is to appeal to all Singaporean gamers of our presence that we want to make the community here recognize us not only a minor gaming clan, but a group of people who will represent the gamers of Singapore to the world stage of Machinima, MLG gaming and so forth. It might not happen then or even this year, but we will put in our utmost effort to accomplish this goal. I call on the support of you, and your fellow gamers to help us. Whether is it you're in our country or not. Till then, I hope you guys will continue your infallible support for us and to my fellow clan members I thank you for joining me. Lets make our mark.

Fucking awesome shit,
